Fear
As a human being, it’s true that we all have our own fears. Since we were kids and grew up, the manifestation of fear has shifted from a monster and a ghost to a truth and a reality. However, I won’t talk about ghosts in this article. The essential meaning of fear in the adult phase is the point that I would like to highlight.
At the college, I often get nervous when it comes to examinations. Even if I prepared well, still the anxious feeling visited my brain at night. Also, a similar feeling appeared in my first job interview. Yup, I realize why so many people want to get back to their childhood. It is better to be scared of a ghost than reality.
Then I realized something. In this phase, to all of you who are 20–30’s, I believe you’re all having your own fear. Fear of rejection, failure, disappointment, etc. It is because we tend to see the future as a problem, whereas it also has the potential to become gold. Actually, we are not facing a problem, but an opportunity.
The way we see something as a problem is the source of this little anxious feeling called fear. I wonder how many opportunities I’ve missed because of this misperception of concept, shit. We should be ashamed of the people of Palestine. They probably smile, having a cup of coffee, and smoke beside Izrail at the moment. Then, what should we fear about in our current circumstances with all of our glamour life and digital pseudo?
Alhamdulillah, I live in a peaceful environment. My biggest fear is the unstoppable marching of time that is slowly holding my hand towards an inevitable death. I still have many unrealized hopes. After all, I think it was just us against the time. And I believe good things take time. Have a beloved night, folks.
